siggesot managed to tell a whole little story with this shot:
The dress I'm holding is the one worn by Mia Karlsson. It has some very cool features that is close to the costume design (the pompons on the shoulders, for example... and the little apron... and the stomacher area), and it's the one with the silhouette I wanted. So cool to see it up close! It's a tad more pink in colour than other dresses I've seen, interesting.
I also got to see the one used by Teresia Bokor (hanging behind me in that photo), and the colour of that one was almost identical to my replica! But boy, was it heavy. Much heavier than Karlsson's dress, it seemed. And for such a tiny person.... Man...
Seeing the Danish Aminta dresses up close made me realize I need to add lots of red to my own replica. Bright red really brings out the best in the salmon and black nuances. Especially Bokor's dress has a dominating red tone in front, and it looks very fresh and defined. Me like.
