well, i'm updating now. whoopi. I have an exchange student from france named Coline, she's wonderful! I was worried she would be shy and I'd overwhelm her, and she is shy, but she adventurous too! We're having a great time cooking, going to american cafe's and playing a lot of boardgames. I've never played so much life, nor gotten beaten at monopoly so badly!
I know more french than I ever would have guessed. I can really communicate well...i hope. she speaks english pretty damn well, so who knows how i'd do with someone who only spoke french.
I PASSED MY OPERA EXAM!!!! I skipped about 8 levels (british- totally divided into levels, qualifications and certificates. typical.) and did a really advanced, really particular level. If you give a shaky performance, you FAIL!!! I passed by two points.I would have liked to have done better, but I'm really quite happy. I was sick, Considering how much my throat hurt an how much my technique suffered for it, I'm happy just to have passed.
For the very first time in my life, I bought a pair of heels that are not for a special event, just because I liked them. I have my nails done, I went shopping two days in a row - I feel really girly.
