Was that a stupid move on my part? Most likely, but I'm sick of work, and haven't had a lazy day in over a month. So there.

EDIT: A co-worker just called up and asked me if I could cover a shift for him tonight, so it looks like I'm working after all

..& they've only filled one of three positions (and rumour has it that the new guy's being "let go" when his 90 days are up. o__0), so it can't hurt to stop by and fill out an application!

I don't think there's anything wrong with turning down time and a half. Sometimes, you just need some time to unwind.
Just too bad you didn't get the night off though. But do you still get time and a half for covering for your co-worker?
