so happy today.
i just got out of the shower.
i got the job today at victoria's secret, i'm so excited. my mom wants to take me out to dinner soon to celebrate. i've been up since 8:30am, because my days are always so much better and longer when i wake up kind of early. i spent all day with the person i am in love with. i got to listen to npr, and read my book a little bit this morning. we drank coffee and then went for a bike ride pretty early, to harris teeter for breakfast things. we came back and i ate my apple and he ate his everything bagel, and it was a lazy morning but it was good. we finished watching the curious case of benjamin button. when i got home this afternoon, i read some more, and ate a little. did some more exercising (circuit training). i cleaned my bathroom intensively. it took an hour. i think i'm going to have my friend over tonight, such good timing because now my bathroom isn't disgusting. i love and hate being ocd about cleanliness. no one thinks i am, because my room is generally messy and my bathroom is awful. but i have a sister, too, and she is just as much NOT a perfectionist as i am one. so pretty much, all the efforts i go to to keep the place clean, she undoes within a day or two. but i'd rather clean the bathroom for an hour by myself than only clean half of it and wait for her to clean the other half. mostly because it would never get done and i can't stand a messy bathroom. in any case, my room is probably the cleanest it's ever been, and my bathroom is now sparkling. and finally, i have just taken a shower and i feel fresh and clean! it's such a good feeling.
becca is graduating tomorrow. i get to dress up and go out to eat after with her family, it's going to be really nice. all in all, today has been very very good. the weather was beautiful, and i got a lot done.
