I am neck deep in research. The legislative session starts in just a couple of weeks and I am getting ready to all but move into the capitol and sit on people until they give me answers. This is not the damn time to pull me from my beat just to soothe some egos. Yes, we have other political reporters, but we don't have me. So what if I pissed off people during the medicaid expansion stuff, but I was only reporting the damn truth.
Instead, I'm here, glancing through what I'm supposed to be "looking at" for this new story, and pissed as hell because right now every single one of us should be up at the capitol, pestering people for their opinions on what the orange menace did this week. (I'm off duty, I can call him what I want.) But nope. Gotta investigate ... a fire.
I wonder if Tali will buy my using Sundance as a political angle ... that will keep me off of people's backs for a while and well ... I can find out what the other half thinks of this crap.
