I, like the rest of the world, can't stop fucking watching this. I can't stop crying when I watch it either.
Little Shop is one of the most beautiful musicals out there, honestly. I know people think of it as just weird and kooky, but it is this powerful story of finding love when the universe wants to destroy you. And? The music is so kick ass. But, like with most things, the story changes a bit when it isn't just two white kids singing.
Like maybe, you put a transwoman next to a man on stage and start singing about how finally, someone loves her for her and treats her like a person and suddenly, seymour, the song is about so much more.
This is beautiful and I really wish I was going to be in New York, because I would kill to see this production.
