I got gutted by a Weevil today. She blindsided us while Ianto and I were focusing on what must have been her mate. Ianto was with me as always when I came back to myself, but he was furious. He really laid into me about being careless. Maybe because I threw myself in front of him and took a direct hit to the stomach by those massive claws? I dunno. What was I supposed to do, let Ianto get mauled? I mean, yeah, Ianto might have heard her in time and gotten out of the way with only a scratch or two. But even that would have put him out of commission for at least a week. I die. I come back. No problem. Ianto would've been in pain for weeks. Maybe even had nerve damage. I really don't know what his problem is, but needless to say, I've been exiled to the couch.
