Decided not to go to Madrid with Koen this weekend solely based on the fact that I'm not ready to leave Steve for an entire weekend. I know it's not anything like leaving her at the hospital, but that was probably the worst experience of my life and I'm a little too close to it still. They've just started this tour; there will be other shows.
Instead, I'm spending the weekend working on new music with my cousin and his friend. Steve gets to supervise and I love it. It's just a pet project, entirely for fun. I'm only singing on the track, but he's producing it and it's a bit of a departure from what you're used to hearing me do. Should be done in a few weeks.
