I've been excused from the team for the rest of the week. The storms that hit the south - including in Tennessee ripped through the town were I grew up. My folks were in a red cross shelter til I got them to a hotel and the house they've lived in since they got married is gone. Crushed by two trees that ... that fell. But the family is alive. Even the dog made it out. We lost the fish tank I guess. My mom's in shock and my dad's gonna miss some of his cancer treatments. I want to bring them back to Salt Lake but they want to stay and rebuild. Right now they're just in shock is all. Everything's gone. Everything.

If you're so inclined, say a prayer or whatever else you do. If you can afford it, donations to the effort to keep people warm and safe while the south rebuilds are being taken at the red cross site.
