Rome 2012 - Part II - Snow

Apr 27, 2012 12:02

It's a little bit belate, I know, but better late than never.

It was the first snow in Rome since 11 years ago and it was more than a century ago since it was accumulating on the ground with sub-zero temperatures holding on for 2 days. It was a rare opportunity to see one of the most beautiful cities in the world under the white blanket, unusually quiet (the snow does muffle the sounds!) and almost empty of visitors. It was me and Rome.
