crocheting!!!! you've made my day!!! & to say i've inspired you? wonderful!!
are you teaching it to yourself? how do you find it?!?! crocheting is what i want to do next, only it seems more difficult than knitting?? if you find it to be easy, i'll have to out very very very soon & teach myself how to do so!!! (you've just filled me with a massive burst of energy!)
*dances madly*
&honestly..grades mean nothing in the end of it all. so long as you keep them at an average, you'll be dandy;)
well i dont know very much. just the very very basic things- how to make the first row. but my mom took a little class on crochet at jo-anne fabrics. and she started teaching me but didnt finish.
she said that its actually easier than knitting cos its ok if you mess up, you can just do the knot over again knitting uses two stick things right? you should deffo try it out, its fun
i've heard that it could be easier than knitting but when i took out the book to teach myself, just looking at it had me confused. then again, i didn't have the needles etc. to work with, so that most likely makes it easier. &it's okay to mess up!??!?!?! if you drop a stitch in knitting (&don't realize it) you could end up with a really big hole. it's fixable, but the level of difficulty ranges from what stitch you're doing. i need to get the round needles to make a hat because i really want to move on to something else!!!
&i learned to knit by telling myself i wasn't going to rely on others anymore, bought my needles, some yarn, & took out a childrens book on how to knit!!!! when i started i came to find that both my parents knew the basic stitch so they helped me out, but i'd already got it, they just showed me how to make it a bit easier. &it's soooooo easy, honestly, just get out a kids book on it & you'll be a pro in NO TIME!!!! :D
you've seriously made my day. i think i need to teach myself to crochet now!!!:D xx
some of us should win awards on it, i for one, claim it to be my specialty;)
creating anything is magical, so long as it means something to you. x
