that`s funny:P

Sorry, my question may seem strange but i have no conception about your educational system. You`re a foreigner for me, so i`m interested in things that are usual for you.
In what month does the school year start in USA?
When it ends?

The school year generally starts sometime in August (middle to late) but some schools start in September. School ends in late May to the middle of June. Year-round schools are different; they go to school for a few weeks, have a week or two off, and repeat the cycle, the reason being kids forget a lot of school during summer break and teachers have to spend a lot of time reteaching (in other words, they think it's more efficent to work then take short breaks throughout the year).

Yup, we Christmas shop. However, we aren't allowed to celebrate holidays at school due to people at my school that don't celebrate them due to religous beliefs. In other words, we get time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Labor Day but we aren't allowed to do things in school celebrating them. During Valentine's Day, students can buy flowers for each other from our student advisory board, but that's about it.

The ironic part is that I want to get out of the US. Yes, I love my country, and I'm proud to be an American (and a military brat) but I want to go explore the rest of the world while I go to school to be a vet tech (there's a school in Ireland). My best friend wants to be a vet and open her own no-kill animal shelter so I'd come back to the US then, at least. It's cool that you love the US though. :)

As for me, i have always wanted to have a job closely connected with the english language!)
but i`m sure that knowing english is not enough to get a good job and to find a way to USA..And what do you think about this?

Computer skills is something needed in any job in the US. What sort of job do you want to do when you get to the US? I'll be able to better answer that question if you have any ideas.

I`m really not so sure of my choices. I can only say that i`m dreaming of moving to US. For this (so i thought) i need to go to some university that`s connected with learning english language. But if i`ll go in such uni, i would have no choice ( i mean i`d have only one way: to become an enterpreter ). But does your country need an english-russian specialist? I really didn`t think of it..So now i`m nonplussed, cause i`m finishing school next year. I`m afraid, i don`t know what to choose, what to do.

We always need bilingual interpreters. Maybe try researching US colleges?

How do you think, is it possible for me to enter an US college if i have a gold medal for example?

Sorry it took me so long--I've been really busy. You don't need a medal. Research colleges in the US and look for International--that should tell you what you need to know. :)
