I went to L________ today. Not much happening there but it was a day out. Took iPod, he behaved well both in the car and in the street. Bought a magazine... nothing exciting

Sounds good. Dad's a bit crook at the moment but, if he gets better by about thursday, him and mum should be gone for about a week. Wooo!
