I got it a few weeks ago but have just now gotten around to listening to it.
It's way different than their last album, it's more like... funky.
Or should I say "FAWNKAY!"
Anyways, I'm getting a new guitar soon. (Probably a telecaster. I looked online for looking up all of my favorite sounds like for example, I really like Chris Walla's sound. I look up his setup, he plays a telly. So does ben gibbard. And Thom Yorke. And the guitarist from coldplay. All of whom have a really good guitar sound. So I think I'm goin telly.)
Incidentally, I need an amp also.
Amplifiers are effing balls-to-the-walls, poop-my-pants-in-pure-panic, hernia-from-hell, almost-an-aneurism, boobies-bouncing-ballistically, EXPENSIVE. The alliterations are staggering.
Anyways. Like I want a Vox amp. Those a neat. But also like 521-1329 dollars. Wtfrizz.
So if anybody knows where I can get a good quality amp for cheap, let me know.
Or if you know what kind of amps are good but less expensive. I just really wanna get a good sound cause I wanna get back into doing big shows, rather than my cafe/lounge alternative that I've been wallowing in for the last two-ish years.
I miss stages and crowds and yelling and circle pits and sweat and pandemonium.
And to do well in this environment I need a sound that kicks krap out of kids and kittens.
