It's nice to hear her laugh. The sound echoes through the now still night as they step together over fallen. It's nice to not be alone on a night like tonight, even after defeating the villains.
Reaching Faith's flat, she goes for his blood, so he goes for her beer. They meet on the balcony and exchange. He still can't get over the fact that she's not disturbed when he rips into the bag with his fangs and drinks hungrily. He can be himself with her. He steals a sideways glance at her; it's nice not to feel so hollow.
