She lands on her, though not as smoothly as usual, and dusts their remains off of her new leather outfit. She catches her reflection in a puddle and hesitantly touches her newly dyed hair, but the puddle doesn't show her who else is watching.
"Not bad, B," the other girl whispers in the shadows, "but you can't beat me, 'specially at being me." Still, it'll be fun to watch her try, Faith thinks, trailing behind.
