"I found your mom's old recipe." The water in Buffy's eyes increases.
"Thank you, Wills."
Willow smiles. "Just get better, Buffy." Both girls know it's more than this rare cold that's kept the Slayer in her bed for a week. "We need you."
Buffy nods. By sunset, she's back on patrol. She'll never forget her mother, stop missing her or loving her, but she has friends to protect.
