Buffy plopped backwards onto their bed, laughing even as she dragged Angel on top of her. Not that she needed to exert herself too much. "Come on, you're being slow."
He responded by rerouting her hands from his pants back onto his chest.
"So this is punishment. Did I have you that worried?" She rewarded him with a bite. "Was I too nasty?"
"You're in a good mood now," he noted, caressing muscles that had been taut with dread all the day before.
Buffy grinned. "Of course! My birthday is over and nothing happ-"
That was when Cordelia started screaming.
