He had woken up in a cold lonely bed.
“I couldn’t lie beside you while you dreamed of her.”
“Bloody Hell, Dru. You‘re rambling and not make sense.

With tears in her eyes she said, “I saw you shining like the sun while you held her hand.
She begged you to leave with her, but you chose to burn.“
He shuddered as a chill ran over his skin.
Spike pulled his Princess into his arms and held her as she wept.

His warrior so strong and so breakable.
He stood outside the door filled with fear she would send him away.
To his surprise, suddenly she grabbed his shirt pulling him inside.
