“Buffy Summers, Vampire Slayer,” Lindsey read from the small rectangular card his secretary had handed him before Buffy’s entrance. He looked at his visitor and waved the card a little. “In pink?”
Buffy rolled her eyes. “My new temp has a sense of humor.”
Lindsey chuckled, trying to picture the person who would hand this Slayer the girliest, tackiest business cards he’d ever seen - and revising his opinion of Buffy. She was using them, after all. “I see. You land on your feet, don’t you? Your last backline got wrecked, but you haven’t lost time putting together a new one.”
