He's also largely forgotten by fiction writers. Even when there's a minor character celebration, he rarely gets mentioned.

♥ Poor old dear! Spike lost a valuable asset when the Judge killed him. He was a horrible boss, though, and didn't deserve him. Get thee to a management training seminar, Spike!

Great drabble! I love to see the minor characters highlighted, and this captures his essential tragedy nicely.

What a great charachter study on a much neglected charachter. I've read him a couple of times in fanficdom but I don;t recall learning about his background and how he might feel.
