Standing in the dim light of the run down church, Buffy couldn’t see it.
Spike had fought for his soul to give her what she deserved.
She chose him as her Champion and finally understood she loved him.
Down in the mouth of Hell, his soul was glowing bright as the sun.
Now Buffy could see it and it broke her heart.
