The stage is set (literally). The flyers have gone out. The bar is stocked. The karaoke machine is working. The anti-violence shield spell is also working. The barkeeps are here and eager for tips. A mysterious portal hasn't opened in the centre of the club in at least three months.
Showtime.
Lorne unbolts the door to his kingdom, and declares, "Welcome to Caritas!"
That first night, an over-affectionate Frovlox demon is knocked unconscious by the shield malfunctioning, and Lorne freaks at a werewolf's soul number. But his closing aria rocks, and the joint is jumping.
It's a great opening night.
