Nice.

Good to see Connor having enough perspective to find humor in people's discomfort when he asks them.

Well, he has the memories of a 'real' family now. I don't think he's expecting much from other people's memories of Darla. :)

Heh! That was really great. I can just hear them. Great character voices.

Thank you! Connor rarely speaks to me, so it was great to work with him for once.

Tactful Buffy! Very nice. I can imagine Connor wanting more information about his mother from anyone who had actually met her, and yet realizing that most people might have a hard time saying something positive.

He wouldn't have it easy either. There's so few people left alive who met his mother. In fact, I think it's only Spike, Angel and Buffy, and maybe Illyria through Fred's memories.

Thanks for commenting!

Awkward indeed. Buffy could also say honestly that she only met the woman once and that was years ago. But smart is about as nice as one could hope for.

"Well, I really only met your mother that one night she tried to kill my mother."

That would go over so well. LOL

Aw, that's great. Good for Buffy, finding the only words that are true and kind. I'd love to see more of her and Angel and Connor in the Bostonverse.
