“Shut up Watcher. It’s this or polite conversation till we can get out of here.” Spike gestured around the confines of the snowed-in demon lair, with complement of ex-demons piled in a corner and precious few entertainment options. “And I’m not exactly feeling chatty.”
He tried to defend, only to see Giles attack repeatedly. “Check… Oh, I wouldn’t say those were the only options.”
Giles moved his knight to threaten Spike‘s now-trapped king. “Mate.” And raised an inviting eyebrow. “If you want to, of course.”
