Drabble Challenge - Shift

I got two out of this challenge. And yes, I’m pretty sure the second one with Spike and Angel is going to date me as well as them.

“It’s my turn!”

“Says who?”

“I’ll tell Buffy.”

“Maybe you should tell big sis, yeah?

“You wouldn’t?”

Spike looked at her out of the corner of his eye, his scarred brow arching in the process. “Wouldn’t I?”

“You’d turn me in? Your little bit?” She batted her eyelashes.

“Fine, but this is the last time. I’m pretty sure this isn’t appropriate game play for a big bad and a…. nibblet.”

After an enthusiastic nod of her head she said, “Now gimme!”

She flicked the Twister spinner, landing on a color. “Shift it. I need to put my foot on blue.”

“We could do that,” Spike said, tilting his head toward the telly.

Shaking his head Angel said, “Out of a morgue? Bad idea.”

“Yeah, you’re right. Not like I look like a Madame anyway.”

“I don’t know. With those cheekbones. The right wig. A little make-up.”

“Shut it, ponce.”

“Besides, he was a pimp. Not a Madame.”

“Was this before his Fonz days?”

“Do I look like a trivia book?”

“What about Cheers? I like this one better than the dark-haired one.”

“A blonde. What a surprise.”

“Like you should talk.”

“Can you just shut up and watch the movie?”

The movie they would be referring to is Nightshift and it starred Henry Winkler (The Fonz from Happy Days) and Shelly Long (Diane from Cheers {being the blonde and Kirstie Allie being the brunette}).
