There is some truth in so much that being male of the species, I have a penis. There is however also truth in the fact that unlike most of the males of the species , I do not do 87% of my thinking with said organ. Assuming that I will want sex in return for anything I do for you is not only wrong, it's insulting. It lowers me to the level of date rapist frat boys , or men who objectify and use women for their own devices before throwing them away. If that is how you see me, then there really is no place for you in my life, and there never will be.
The only upside to this is that you will have plenty of company in that school of thought. So long as you think that every man in the world wants/thinks of you as nothing more than an object to possess and a conquest to achieve in bed, you will never ever be alone. You will be missing out on a relatively large population of men who don't think that way, and would probably treat you with respect and dignity. If you ever wonder why, it very well may be that men who would treat you with respect and dignity don't like being lump summed or thought of as the kind of person they have worked long and hard to not become.
As a realist, I have to point out to you that this society is designed to pre-program men into a specific school of thinking, and it's not a good one nor is it one that lends itself to reasonable actions. It promotes a false sense of beauty, objectifying and using women as disposable things. In order to overcome this, one must understand mass media, have some sense of decency and respect towards all human beings, and a smattering of common sense. These are not easy things to come by, and there are many sacrifices that are made along the way to achieving this. When a person has worked through their own mistakes, through the morass of social structure, and can live in a world where their opinions , thought, and actions are in the minority - the least they expect is to be respected for this effort. The most they can hope for is recognition.
When I told you that I am a " Between the ears , not between the legs " kind of guy, I was not making a joke. I was completely serious.
