I'm watching horror movies for Xmas.
Happy Christmas, everyone!!
I've watched much horror. Mostly Bloody Disgusting Selects on netflix. Some clever things, some less so, suitably distracting though.
Wake Wood was subtle and kinda sweet, if a bit gory. Offspring and the Woman were interesting social commentary with intense amounts of violence. Interesting, if disturbing.
The cats are adorable. Gentleman cat is back, and they insist on sleeping together in a ball of feet and tails. I'm quietly lonely and should make the time to call all my family. They're all doing things though so...
Took a break for the Queen, whom I just have a great soft spot for, and Doctor Who, which had happy points and less happy points. Completely non spoilery, and must be dealt with:
Winter is Coming. They said it twice. I must over-analyse the implications and speculate about the Doctor in Westeros. (which is probably the most unlikely fandom crossover, ever). There is nothing timey-whimey about Westeros.
Was it a shout out? Was it unintentional? It's in there twice *flails*.
And Downton is coming! How exciting is that? Love a bit of Downton.
