totally useless post about telly...

I get more of THE CLOSER and soon dammit. July 12th! 13th for me because I steal pirate, but hey, "The Closer". I love that show. Brenda, epic cop awesomeness, snazzy writing. Captain Raydor- rawr. Mary McDonnell can grace my telly in her Armani-wearing evil-cop get up whenever she wants.

Sadly, there will be no more "Damages", sure I was the only person I know who was entirely into it, but wow...it was brilliant. Star-studded, probably expensive as hell to shoot. (having Lily Tomlin guest on Glenn Close's show probably costs big big money.)

And more Leverage! Whee!

Futurama mocked iPhones. I laughed, I saw myself in it, I wondered if I'd ever want a cell phone implanted in my eye.

I betaed some Sanctuary whilst fielding "why don't you write more Sanctuary fic?" comments on LJ and ff.net. Was it the moon? Something in the water? Time to poke Opal about writing more Sanctuary?

All right, I'll admit it. I'm a bad fangirl. I haven't even watched the season finale of Sanctuary yet. Sure, it's bollywood but it didn't mean much to me. I don't know...my squee is faded. I was into the Ashley and Helen kick ass with the geek boys backup dancers. Then I was completely into Helen drags the protege all over creation whilst turning him into something useful.

My extremely unpopular fandomy opinions? Less John angst, less Nikola, more of the people who are actually around and on the show. Give me Kate and Helen bonding, Henry becoming a kickass werewolf and Will growing up. Lots of that. Much more of that. These are your series' regulars you writers, use them, also, if we could go back to having a coherent story arc that connects through episodes, lets do that.

Fringe needs to come back.
