New Sonic Game

This new Sonic game.....it blows. So I rented, yes rented, the game from work tonight so see how it would play on the Wii and oh my god I don't want to ever waste time like that again. I spent 5 minutes watching an intro and then about a minute for each tutorial level at the beginning, which I didn't even finish before I got tired of there being

Ouch. That's sad. Those Sonic games were so much fun, too. Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic Spinball... all fun (though, I never did beat Sonic Spinball).

... ok, so now that I think about it, I can't really comment on Sonic games past the Sega Genesis. Maybe it's a good thing that I haven't played any of the other ones.
