United Way Spelling Bee
I took part in a spelling bee to raise awareness about United Way's fundraising campaign on campus. Four of us formed a team and worked together to spell 19 words. We got 5 right.

We got 5/19. Haha! However, the competition was a little rigged. The runner-up was a team formed by the English Department, and the winner was a team of a single participant who is an English PhD student. Did we even have a chance?
I went home and told Little E about it, and also told her some of the words. She cracked up laughing and informed me that no, those were not real words.
