I always manage to find the business professionals that are morons.
Most recent episode? My new financial adviser - the one that replaced the one that I've known my entire life. Apparently when I talked to him and explained to him that I just have a check mailed to me, that's why I call a week and a half before the beginning of the month he took it to mean that I have physical checks that I can write against my mutual fund.
So today's the 5th, and I've got a couple of past due bills - and I'm going to have more by the time the goddamn check gets here.
Moron.
I miss Ken - at least when he messed up, it was usually something his secretary did (like accessing my brother's account instead of mine.) Then again, as far as my brother goes, the federal government can't keep us straight either. Probably something to do with him being Andrew and having a social security number that's only 2 or 3 digits different than mine - all in the last set of 4.
