Home again
I got home at 4:50pm, which is right about on schedule considering all I did was stop for a veggie burger at BK (and to pee--same stop). The traffic wasn't bad at all except a few localized places that cleared within 10 minutes or so. My butt didn't hurt most of the way (love that Tramadol) and a got a good ways into listening to My Life by Bill Clinton on audio book. I like it when the author reads his own audio book. Generally speaking I like Clinton. I think he has some issues with women (sex) but other than that weakness I think he's a good politician, or as good a you can get as a politician. The job title does come with a certain degree of built-in sleaze, for lack of a better word. I don't believe there are any actually GOOD politicians that get very far in the profession. But whatever, I don't want this to be a political post. I'm enjoying the book; that's my main point.
It was good to get home and see Dan. A nice long shower felt good, too. Now we have the rest of the week with no kid around the house until Sunday afternoon! I work tomorrow and Wednesday but then I'm off.
