neighborhoods/ towns closer to the loop than rogers park/ edgewater. (oak park and forest park are in the running)
close to public transit. preferably train.
2 br minimum. 1200 max rent.
still, with all the available housing, finding something for june is still not so easy. people are currently trying to rent out for may. being gone for 2 weeks in may not the brightest timing on my part. massive stress will await me as it is when I get back from china, but this promises to be positively insane if i don't have a location in mind before i leave. which gives me 3 viable weekends to search. (i'm thinking not so much over easter.)
