Never would of that that Zoro could be a merman, but it really does explain alot. His hair, inhuman strength, the fact he's faster than even some mermen in water.

I'm just waiting for poor Zoro to discover he can breathe under water, since no one seems to be sharing their air bubbles with him at the moment, and Oda did say that if he were an animal, he'd be a shark.
