It was really fun writing Mal, Adama, and Roslin, especially because I really feel like Mal has this tendency to collect people around him that are pieces of himself that he's lost, and Adama is sort of the military man Mal no longer is and Roslin is well... hope for a better future I suppose.

As for Chief/Kaylee... I don't even know where that came from but as soon as I started thinking about it, it had to happen! I'm glad that their relationship turned out well and that you liked it because damn! It's too cute!

Oh Kara, Kara, Kara... Kara kind of took over this story... which is all well and good because I think she deserves the leadership. I just... yeah planet life was not really for her... *snuggles* But now she's still technically Captain Thrace which is all awesome and shit! I feel guilty for not focusing on the others... I do have a few thousand words of a big sequel in the works that kind of picks up on the mythology I dropped with her and kind of everyone and kind of retcons all the problems I had with the Serenity movie, because there are a lot (and i think I get angrier about those than I do about anything BSG).

Heh... I love that the Alliance got the best of Cavil and his minions. Because seriously... they deserved it XD
