sooo today was...MY FIRST DAY OF WORK!
mmm hmm yes mam. it was like going behind the scenes at randazzosss..well this is how it all went down..i got there at 8 am and asked to see debra (the manager person?) and she told me that this girl crystal was gonna be training me..crystal is like my savior bcuz she seriously helped me with all the numberrss! (which by the way--i memorized like 25 codes so ffarrr!) shes a junior at cousino and shes pretty darn cooool. so ya..i had to first fill out a time card and check in?? i think thats what its called...and then she showed me how to log on the register and what all the keys meant and how to work the drawer. then she showed me how to do cash, debit, credit, or check..checks take FOREVER! sooo at about 8:30-ish i got my FIRST CUSTOMER! omg i was scared to death..seriously...but i just did all the stuff one at a time and she told me all the codesss..omg sometimes i accidently would scan stuff twice cuz like the way i moved the barcode over the scanner so u have to scream (SERIOUSLY SCREAM) debra in front of like the whole store so she can come over and put in her code to get rid of the item scanned twice...so ya. but the customers were all like "i can tell shes new" "ull get it down in no time" im like thankss..haha at leasst they werent crabby aholes..at least i didnt have to bag cuz seriously its all hard to concentrate on 123489 things at once when ur working the register...but um I ONLY HAVE 3 DAYS OF TRAINING W/ SOMEONE AND THEN IM ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL ALONE!!!!!! im gonna die. seriously. so today i made sure i wrote down all of the codes that i could remember...but ya so anywho...back to work...so then after a while at like 10:20ish we got to go on breakk..and i went w/ cyrstal to burger king..i have no idea what im gonna do for break since i cant drive?? maybe walk by myself to mcdonalds or something?? idk. sara ill call u everyday to come with me :) sooo we only had a half hour..and supposedly i guess we came back 4 mins late? idk i hope not. but like no one knew or cared..?? idk.. well anywho so we had to check back in with our time cards and stuff..then i worked pretty much the whole time till 2 and then cindy came over and said i could leave..so i had to log out of the register..take the drawer upstairs and count all the money..i got my apron!! and i had to fill out this big packet for new employees..o yea and theres this pretty HOT NEW GUY that works there ;) outside tho..selling flowers and getting carts and stuff..o and i met michelle today too..shes cool but i have no idea what school she goes to. yeppp..so then i called my dad to come get me and went home..then i went tanning and the mall with my sisssterr to get some black shirts for work until i get my randazzo shirttt. yepp. then i did chem hw and jumped on the trampoline with meerrr. and now im tired as heck. i got to get up at 7 AM TOMRROW. ya right. work sucks already lol. k gooddnight...and TURN IN UR APP SARA! AAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPP!
