What Music Means To Me...

Ever hear a song, and it takes you back to a place, or something that happend in your life that left an impact on your life, or even taken you back to someone; a friend, a family member?...Here's what music does for me.

Whenever I hear Cher - Do You Believe In Life, I think of Lonnie. He was my best friend, and before he passed away in 2004, we used to jam to it in his truck every chance we got. I remember when we were listening to that song on the way home from his very first horse show that he ever attended, only days before he passed, and he was so into the song, he almost hit someone in front of us, it was rather humorous.

Or whenever I hear "Dirty Little Secrete", I think of Brooke. How when we were working together one day, she had just finished repairing the flip of an i730, and Brooke was processing the report online while listening to the song "Dirty Little Secrete" ...Well while she is typing in the report of the repair, she's supposed to type, "Replaced Broken Flip"...Instead, she types in, "Replaced My Dirty Little Secrete!" Love it!...

Whenever I hear Hinder - Lips Of An Angel, It reminds me of Cary and Carrera. For some odd reason, it just does. But, it makes me miss the good ole days of when we all used to hang out!

George Straight's - I Cross My Heart, reminds me of Kristin and Tommy's wedding. It actually hits home a little. It brings back ALOT of memories of other things, but their wedding most of all. It was the best damn wedding I've ever attended. I miss those guys!

Fashion Zombies, by the Aquabats! HOLEY COW! That reminds me of Brett...HAA! Dancing all over his living room and jumping and laughing. Drunk off his ass! But good times, good times!...

And how about Amazed, by Lonestar?....My parents song...Whenever I hear that song, I picture my parents dancing in the middle of KC Crumps.

Or We're Coming To America, by Neil Diamond. Reminds me of Lonnie Lyons! For he is who I thank for where I am today, and the knowledge I have with the equiptment I use every day as well...

Wether it be something good, or something bad...There are always songs that reminds me of certain events in my life!...It's what keeps me holding onto the memories! and that's what's most important to me!...

GOOD TIMES GOOD TIMES!
