I totally parallel parked last night
and it was sweet. although it's about damn time! I've lived here since, what, August of '03? (technically) lol.
so let's see. Baby-sat the lil' rugrats last night. Got a certificate of residency for Albany, for HVCC. whooo. Oh, and I signed up for a General Psychology course on Thursday nights. I have a feeling karma's gonna bite me in the ass (for the last 2 semesters, in my one class we got the questions and answers to all of our tests, and we never had papers/presentations/homework... ever. *sigh*) I s'pose it would be what I deserved though. eh...
Not too much else has been going on. My boss and supervisor told me that they decided against extending my probation, since I've proven myself with an improved attitude and work ethic; pffft, I'm beginning to think it was just a scare tactic. WHATEVA! Just glad that's over with. Tomorrow (8/12) marks my FOUR year anniversary with NYSIF. Good Lord. Hard to believe I've been working there since before I was even 17 ;o)~
Baby-sat Apryl and Maggie on Saturday (yes, that's what I do for/consider fun, on a Saturday night. Shut up) Apryl thought she'd be funny and call me mommy in public- she knows I hate it, especially since, well, they're young enough too look like my kids. That lil shit!
and as for the end of August... all I can say is: I totally called it, and talk about ironic!. l;ksjdgfjlhadgl. *sigh*
Ok, time for bed. I worked tonight too, my feet are killing me, and I'm just wiped out.
