He sleeps a lot. At least, a lot for a Time Lord; and what that means is that there's really no one awake to notice that he's sleeping when he shouldn't.
Except the Master.
'Leven can feel the confusion, the anger his mere presence causes. Poor Master, it must be horrible. Poor Master. His very being so well-strung, well-geared for Ten that he didn't even have to work at it; Ten just followed. Puppy on a string.
But not 'Leven.
The Master has to try now, put real effort into controlling the Doctor. And in the end, 'Leven just smiles sweetly, agreeing to everything he says. But then just goes his own way, as ever. He keeps his own control, finally, and it's hard to say how tempted he ever is to follow. Slippery as an eel.
About time he feels what it's like.
