This weekend is reminding me why i love fall. Fireplaces, chili, sweatshirts and cozy slippers.

the cold weather makes me miss him more.
at the swim meet yesterday, we won that race and everyone was so excited, hugging all of the people there for them. i looked to the stands, just another reminder of the distance. he doesnt even know about the race, or what it was like to watch us win. he doesn't know what it's like to be there for me anymore because he can't be here. love is love, you can't help that and i don't want to help that, but all the little beautiful acompaniments are gone. it all makes me very sad. i suppose it's the same way for him though. however, i have always admired his strength and this is no different.
