to not fight back, sometimes you have to let people run their course.
to let go, the burden isn't worth it.
(more recently) to not be so apathetic, coming down on myself and pouting doesnt get me anywhere.
to believe in my potential, i really can do anything if i want to bad enough.
to think positively about everybody, everyone has something positive about them.
to find me, the little bitty voice that so often gets overshadowed by the strong convictions of those around me.
to understand that he understands.
to step outside the box, even if it doesnt turn out at all the way you hoped.

to respect what people have to say about me, and understand that that is one opinion.
to understand that people are not always going to have positive things to say.
to love different cultures, the stories and heart of different places are utterly compelling to me.

to accept responsiblilty, i needed a reality check.
to try my best to keep everyone happy and on good terms and manage this balance, but also to know that things are going to be ok no matter what.

that's about it. well no it's not, in one year I learn countless things, but it would take me forever to write them all down.
I had so much fun last night. I got long awaited christmas presents and then hung out with amazing and fun people. We played a game i was mildy successful at and laughed and had fun. lol , "Swiss Cheese!?!". Entered the new year with a toast and a kiss and then two hours of catch phrase. If last night was any inidcation of the year to come, I cannot wait.
but now, math homework. but i can do it. i will not give up.
