Home for the summer, and WoW
I imagine that by now everyone who looks at this journal knows I'm a hopeless World of Warcraft addict. So, please bear with me while I express my feelings about the new druid form art that's coming in the next major content patch:
OH MY GOD ARE THEY PRETTY. I CANNOT WAIT. I MAY EVEN HAVE TO ROLL A TAUREN JUST SO I CAN EXPERIENCE THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS THE NEW TAUREN TEXTURES FIRSTHAND. AND MY NELF WILL BE SOOOOOO HAPPY SHE'S NOT GENERIC ANYMORE. I MEAN REALLY, NELVES ARE GENERIC ENOUGH WITHOUT THEIR DRUID FORMS LOOKING BORING.
(Although I've always been fond of Nelf cat form and I'm glad they've kept that essentially the same.)
So obviously I'm home and wasting time for the summer. I'm hoping to enter some writing contests or something for some possible monetary winnings, because I didn't get a job. We may go to the zoo tomorrow. I might be getting The Sims 3 for my birthday. It's a miracle that they released it for Mac at the same time as PC.
I've taken over the keyboard from mom's latest computer (she prefers her ergonomics) and it's much nicer. More like my laptop keyboard. I was beginning to feel as though I had to pound the keyboard I had to get any sort of results from it.
I'm re-reading Harry Potter. I'm on Goblet of Fire and taking my time going through them, trying to really pay attention now that I know everything that's going to happen. It's amazing the amount of detail J.K.R. puts in her plots. It's almost like she has a plan. Imagine that!
