so I've arrived to the middle of nowhere, my home for the next 7 weeks, also known as central michigan :) and to start things off right, one of my two checked-in bags decided to not arrive with the plane. but don't worry, the only things in it were all my clothes and all my contacts.
you'd think that I could just use the contacts I was wearing to get here since I normally wear 2-week disposable ones..., but nope, I thought I could be clever and wear a pair of daily disposables since I like to sleep on planes. it's not good to sleep with your contacts on because it builds up gunk on it or something? but it's okay with daily disposables..because then I just throw them away anyways.
so in the end, the good news is that my luggage arrived later that evening. it was most likely mixed up when I switched planes in detroit, so I was able to survive. and that is good.
