"it's like a battle between motors and horses, like technology versus horse"
so I awoke today to the wonderful sound of a chainsaw against a giant piece of metal. okay, it was probably something more productive than that, but that's what it sounded like! oh, and then there was also the sounds of metal drumsticks, and of a tree being ground down. when I finally got so fed up and just looked outside, alas, they were setting up for the upcoming "reunions" here.
so I looked to see what was making each of those wonderful noises, and it all made sense! the chainsaw on metal was really just a giant cement drill thing. the tree being ground down was really just a giant shredder being fed giant branches that they had cut down from a tree. the metal drumsticks? just giant metal poles being hammered into the ground. yes, everything was giant.
it's just like that simpsons episode when homer had that weird dream...and then wakes up in a golf course. "and the talking coyote was nothing more than a talking dog."
