Well, well, well...
Friday night was la fiesta. It turned out to be pretty fun. I have the pictures on my facebook if ya'll want to check that stuff out. There were probably about 50 people here. Brian and Jeff, my southern poly friends came, that was pretty awesome of them. I made lots of new friends that go to Life. I think I talked to more new people than Matt did, and Matt has classes with these kids. See how much more time there is to socialize when you're not busy getting drunk. Haha. The house managed to not get trashed and the cops weren't called. So I had a good time. Plus I looked pretty hot. Haha.
Saturday, after getting 5 hours of sleep, I woke up at 8 am to go get a haircut. I love my new hairstylist, she's awesome. She styles my hair so freaking cute, and she tells me like her honest opinion of my hair. I think I'm going to get partial highlights in July, because my hair is two different colors and she things the highlights will help blend it a little. And we're going to the Bahamas in July, and I know that the sun will really show my bi-colored hair. Haha.
After the haircut, I went shopping for Matt (and myself). I told myself I wouldn't spoil him, and then I go and spoil him. I can't help it. I bought him four shirts from old navy, and then a dress shirt and tie from Target. I wanted him to have something new and nice to wear to dinner. I also got the materials I needed for the ice cream cake I was making.
We went to the Library that day, I tried to study, but then I realized I could see the air show from the library window. So I sat at the window and watched the Blue Angels fly. They're so sweet! I wish I could be a Blue Angel piolet. My friend Dominic, who is in the Marines, told me that I would get sick because of all the g-forces. Oh well.
Then I started making the ice cream cake. It's a long process. I think I started at 6 or 7 and I didn't finish it completely until the next morning. It turned out pretty good, everyone liked it. It was a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake, two layers of ice cream and three layers of brownies with mint chocolate topping. Our freezer isn't as cold as it should be I guess, so the cake sort of melted when I took it out to finish it, so my appearance score wasn't so high. Haha.
Sunday I gave Matt his presents, he liked them. Then I did some studying and other boring stuff. Then got ready to go out to eat. The restaraunt was so cool. It rotated 360 degrees every hour, so we got to see all of downtown Atlanta, while we ate dinner. Matt had roast lamb and I had a filet. The food was sooooo good! Then we had creme brulee, and I have to say, Matt and I have made better. I think they used too much cream, because it was kind of soupy. The service was pretty good, but I really get sick of being treated like crap because I"m a young person at a really nice restaraunt. I can afford to eat dinner at places like that, and I don't feel like I should be treated like I don't belong. The last couple of times Matt and I have eaten out, the waiters have been flat out rude to us, but last night the guy was at least nice. But I noticed that he was treated a table of adults a whole lot better than he was treating us. Oh well, some day I'll say "do you know who I am?" Hahah.
After that Matt wanted to show me these really big houses north of downtown. Holy crap!! I have never seen houses this big in my life. I'll go back and take pictures some day, but these were like million dollar homes with huge gates. There were so big, like think of the biggest house you've ever seen and multiply it by 4, I was freaking out. And I was incredibly jealous. I want a big house one day, and I"m gonna work my ass off to get one!
Then driving back Matt and I were feet away from being in an accident. We're just driving along, talking, and all of a sudden we hear this sound like a jet engine or something. I look behind us and all of a sudden this car starts swerving all over from the right side of the road all the way over to the left side and then back to the right, cutting in front of all of these cars. And I knew they were very close to hitting us, I was so freaked out I couldn't believe it. I couldn't wait to get out of the car.
So I had two finals today, Calc and Government. I think they went pretty well. One more tomorrow and then I'm done! Woo!
I just realized I'm super broke, thank goodness I"m getting paid this Thursday!
