More than one soulmate.
I had a talk earlier with mike about Jesus, and he shared with me a song that he had written about Jesus. I fell in love again.
I feel really lucky sometimes. And I think my dear keeps me from feeling it all the way. I love that I can talk to him about anything in the world...and I love that I can sit with him on the phone and read passages from the bible while he sifts through pages of a carefully guarded lyric book that he wrote. We joked about the type of conversations we have and the scope of our conversations. Again, I feel lucky...that we can share secrets, and our heart and our art together. Thats why i think that no matter what happens at the end of the day, he's my friend forever..I beleive that people can have more than one soul mates...i have girlfriends that I hink our my soulmates...my sister is my soulmate...and I think Mike makes the ranks...sometimes I wonder what I did to get so lucky...and what I do that gets in the way of me recognizing that!
