I've realized that my most personally urgent time to write occurs when I'm battling with debatably existent, invisible enemies whom I must prove a conquistador to by fierce verbal defeat.
Perhaps this is the purpose for internal demons.
When the physical manifestation of our everyday lives is not providing enough opposing circumstance for us to have to desperately rise above in verbal or physical defense,
and we are the kind to essentially need the adrenaline rush of immediate opposition to say, write, or physically proclaim our place…
perhaps these demons appear as our demented helpers in releasing this bottled expression.
Yes, perhaps the demons are our friends, as we allow them.
I believe it to be like anything else.
The noun is defined by perception.
A "demon" can only destroy if we perceive it to be destructive to us, and allow it to act against our behalf.
"Fear" can only destroy as a "demon" can if we perceive it to be a vehicle for our destruction instead of deciding to use it, in those determining moments to fuel us for decided success.
If we perceive these devils on our shoulders and only potentially plaguing demons to be our personal challengers to either prove our success to or surrender and thus fail by, we are purposefully controlling their creation and/or demise based on our desired and decided outcome.
Upon the conclusion of our individually willed fate, these conceptually defined energies will dissipate leaving the responsibility of failure or success only on the tangible hands of the truly authentic being.
What do you have to prove without the existence of someone or something to prove it to?
