So, in another one of my futon-about-to-take-a-nap-but-still-thinking-moments, I was wondering: is there really such a thing as too much of a good thing? I'm going to venture to say no, because when you think about it, as long as it is not you just putting all your effort and energy into this good thing with no return, and you are getting something back from it, then there really should be no reason that it would take a turn for the worst. For example, when a relationship goes bad, odds are it is because one person, or even both, are not putting into the relationship enough for the other person to feel satisfied. I guess you could say that it is because one person got tird of the other, but the result of getting tired of them is that they don't put as much into it, and the getting tired may come from the realization of charater traits that a person didn't know was there before, so, the idea of what a "good thing" is becomes redefined, and possibly turns to a "bad thing," thus, ending it would fall under the explaination of "Too much of a bad thing..." I guess the idea of too much of a good thing just comes when a person speeds up life...
Another example... you really like gummy bears. So, you decide to eat a whole lot of them, we are talking like almost 2 pounds, then after that, you never want to eat another gummy bear in your life. Before you started eating the gummy bears, you thought they were a good thing, but then after eating "too Many" of them, you realize that you no longer havethe desire for them. "too much of a good thing?" or is it just that eventually you would stop liking gummy bears, and by eating lots of them all at once you merely sped up the process? I don't even know that all of this makes sense, but I think that it would be a waste to erase it all right now....
So, if this is true, which I am starting to believe more and more that it is, then the moral of this story is LIVE IT UP and do the things that you like to do as much as you need to. Yeah, maybe you will find out that you don't like them after you expirience them a few times, but hey look at the bright side, atleast you will figure it out alot faster than if you took things in moderation. And, don't waste your time on things that will make you sad...they are not worth it, believe me. Even if it is the hardest thing that you do all day, find atleast one thing that makes you happy, or that you can laugh about!

P.S. i have just come to the realization that I pretty much live my life in the past...but more about that later.
P.P.S I CAN'T WAIT til tomorrow because I get to go home for the first time and see people that I haven't seen in a REALLY long time!!
