Often after work I hit big brothers (that restaurant Norm owns). Several months ago, while I was eating there I met a magician. The first time I met him, he showed me a couple of the hundreds of tricks he knows, I was giddy as a school girl. In fact the Japanese bloke I was hanging with at the time said `your just like a child!`. What can I say? I like a good magic trick.

Of his hammy pranks I do have my favorites. The second time we met he gave me a red spongy ball and told me to squeeze it in my hand. I did, when I opened it there were two spongy balls. He asked me to squeezed again, giggling excitedly I did, opened my hand again and low and behold there were three. He asked me to squeeze them once more. As expected when I opened my hand there were four. He asked me to squeeze one last time. But before I could open my hand again, he clamped it between his two hands. `5 balls is many balls,` he said, `it`s magic, so you must imagine them.` I giggled and closed my eyes and thought hard. He released his grip on my hand, and I opened my eyes. I thought HARD alright, there was definately balls in my hand. But not the 5 balls you`re thinking - a big, red, phallic, spongy, form erected in my hand. He wore a saucy grin on his face; `Well, we know what`s on your mind`

When I leave Japan (whenever that is) I know he is going to be in my fondest memories. It
`s not like he has to entertain me, but I think he does because he knows I enjoy it so much. Although I`m starting to catch on to many of his tricks, I still like to play along. It`s amazing to find someone that loves their job because it brings a smile on other peoples`faces.
